Responsible for content (§ 18 Abs. 2 MStV)

Fabio Hausmann, address as above.

Liability for content

As a service provider, we are responsible for our own content on these pages under general law. However, we are not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information, or to investigate circumstances indicating unlawful activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information under general law remain unaffected; liability in this regard is only possible from the point in time at which a concrete infringement of the law becomes known to us. Upon becoming aware of such infringements, we will remove the relevant content immediately.

Liability for links

Vitaebase links out to external sites — most visibly, every study citation links to its source (e.g. PubMed or a publisher's DOI page), and our footer links to our own social accounts. We have no influence on the content of these external sites and cannot accept any liability for it; responsibility for linked content lies solely with the operator of the linked site. Linked sites were checked for legal violations at the time of linking; no unlawful content was apparent at that time. Permanent monitoring of linked sites is not reasonable without concrete evidence of an infringement — we will remove links of this kind immediately upon becoming aware of one.

Copyright

The layout, interface and original content of Vitaebase, created by us, are subject to copyright. Duplication, processing, distribution or any form of exploitation beyond the scope of copyright law requires our written consent. The underlying research referenced on Vitaebase (study titles, abstracts and metadata) remains the property of its original authors and publishers and is used here for citation and reference purposes.

Online dispute resolution

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR), available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged, and currently do not participate, in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
